I don't think the deer in the OP is 140. I think it's around 130. This is just MHO based on the 140s and 130s that I have hanging on the wall.

These are the only ones I have on computer. This one an 8 pt on the downside of the hil that scored about 120 or a tad less.

This is a 9pt that scored from 141 to 143, Simmons and TP Outdoors scores.

Six point 115ish

I agree 130ish give or take a couple of inches. I don't get the people that are saying it's in the teens. I would like to see what measurements they are guessing for the score to be that low.

That 140 is a great deer, balls. To me it looks much bigger than the deer in question. Maybe a better picture of the op deer would help but the brows and mass are what have me thinking its smaller.

Thanks. Like most deer where we hunt he had turrible brow tines. Good brow tines would have had him sniffin 150.

Yea, it's hard to tell by that picture. I could see it going 130. But it's no hair off my back either way.

you would probably be surprised on how close it will get. i have killed several over the last few years and being able to get to 50 inches just on the main beams makes it so much easier. not to mention two of the tines are longer than 12 inches. my estimate below:

Beams 24 & 26 = 50'
G1's 2 & 2 = 4'
G2's 12 & 13 = 25'
G3's 10 & 10 = 20'
spread = 15'

before the circumferences, it is already at 114 so any one who thinks this deer is in the teens is a simpleton. Im not going to guess at the circ. because most of the time they are hard to judge, but to make it to 140 it will only need to average 3.25 inches.

Arguing over how many inches a deer is on the internet never goes well.

It's really hard to tell "for sure" until you get it in your hands with a tape measure.
