Do you use Zerust in your gun safe?

I have a bag made of material that does the same thing and pieces in some of my tool boxes but wondering if anyone uses this in their gunsafe?
I have an Evadry in there for moisture but this is type of material is designed to actively prevent corrosion.

This is supposed to provide active corrosion prevention and not just on steel. It is supposed to prevent tarnishing of other metals like brass.
After researching I found small plastic tabs made of this stuff that I have seen in peoples tool boxes. I might try these as well.

I am curious if they do anything to other materials in the safe being confined for so long.

I throw every packet of desiccant I come across in my safe. From shoe boxes, to academy tailgate chairs. You'd be surprised how many packets you come across when you start keeping them.

Have a few Zerust packets and also some Zorb-it packets for my gun cases and tool boxes. VCI's are great and work well in tandem with a dehumidifier or desiccant.

Says "radius of protection" = two feet, and estimated effective life = one year.
Unless you have a mighty small safe, you'll spend a lot on these things.
I use the Evadry dehumidfiers in my safes.

I have a goldenrod and 2 stack on dehumidifiers in my safe. The dehumidifiers are a pain in the arse. Mine are saturated within a week and take over 12 hours to recharge. I may throw in a couple zerusts in there too.
