I use Tow Boat US. Unlimited towing, as well as trailer assist for $165. I don't know if Sea Tow has the trailer assist option or not. Get it if they do for peace of mind.

Tow Boat US has a tow out of Mandeville also. Hailed them last year and they responded like pros

IF you don't have insurance with Boat US you should check and compare coverage- most companies do not cover lots of things BOAT US does-

I periodically look at their Westbank Facebook page and they post some awesome recovery pictures.

No one had anything bad to say about them, so that says alot.

I had the same response a couple of weeks ago. That was my first & hopefully last, but that is doubtful.

I live in Pensacola & there is always a debate on the fishing forum here as to which service is better.

That's the guy who posted the pics of the boat that hit the sandbar in South pass, ripping the whole transom off.

Thought this was the only place it really covers...
All my buddies have at least 1 boat and are usually out to come help us with whatever within 15 minutes. They get paid in beer.

I would if they covered Cocodrie, but they do not.

I cant believe one of the bayou boys hasn't jumped on this opportunity. I would think with the number of boats that fish the Cocodrie, Dularge and Dulac areas this could be a viable business. Also they could also stretch this to fourchon as I dont think they have a service.

I have Boat US and have not used the boat service but did use trailer assist and my bill was just under $300 and they paid the full bill right away. It is also good if I am fishing with a friend and they break down my policy will cover it. It is also my understanding if they do not have someone local they will get someone to give you a tow.
