If you think about it, you are really pretty helpless while boating...I know a couple of folks who have been robbed at boat landings through the years.

Someone I know was almost robbed at Toledo Bend by 2 Messicans. After robbing the launch fee box they attempted to rob them.
Imagine fishing 3 hours from home and losing all your cash and CC's.

I'm ignorant to the laws on this, but what about having a gun in a kayak? Is that legal? I don't have a CC, so can you store it in a box, or do you have to open carry?
