Do scopes come with scope rings?

Doesn't the scope just mount to the rings and then the rings mount to the rail?

Don't forget tube size. There is at least 3 different sizes that I know of and probably more.

That diagram is a big mis-leader.

We routinely use .886" to centerline to mount 56mm nightforces.

To the OP, do yourself a favor and call or go to someone who does this on a daily basis.

What rifle are you mounting a scope on? If they make DNZ Game Reaper mounts for your model rifle I would get those. They are a one-piece mounting system so you wouldn't need a rail. You would need to make sure you get the correct mounts to fit the tube diameter of your particular scope. Also, make sure they are high enough so that your objective doesn't hit the barrel.

No and don't skimp on the rings they do matter and they matter how you mount them. Do it right to avoid future problems.
