thanks man.. looking to spend around 50K.. so I need to find a good used one.. how many hours is too many hours to buy on a tractor that size?

If you are looking used, don't be afraid of the 2_50 and 2_55 JDs either. Own a 2550 and have driven a 2755 and 3055 and they are tough and reliable. No computers and have the bullet proof rotary injection pump. A tractor from up north , 4000 hours is my cut off. Down south where its warmer and no below zero starts, consider a little higher.
The 3055 had 12,500 hours on it when I quit that job. A lot of those were row crop hours.
