Different style pocket clips on knives

I was just looking at some knives and noticed Spyderco has a wire style pocket clip available. I kept noticing little nicks and cuts in my leather steering wheel in my truck and couldn't figure out what was going on. One day I noticed when I was getting out of my truck my hip was brushing the bottom of the steering wheel and my knife clip was hanging. It has one of the flat blade types which has an edge to it. I think this wire style which is more rounded would not catch as bad.
Anyone else notice this happening to their steering wheel?
Here is a picture of the wire style clip.

Yup, they all seem to have pocket clips and different styles.
One thing about the Spyderco wire clips, if you snag it on something and it bends badly you'll never get quite right again. They'll send a replacement for free though. I'd have to throw my hip nearly a foot over to hit my steering wheel...

That's not even half of them.

I take them off. Not a fan of a clip. Can't get my hands in my pockets if the knife if clipped on the inside of my pocket

Put it in your "watch" pocket.

My brother's wife probably. If I put them all out on my dining room table, including fixed blades and multi-tools, I'd have to make two rows on a 6-foot table.

Nope, no karambit in my collection either...

If I sit down with a knife in my pocket that is not clipped, there's a 100% chance it's going to find a way to fall out.

The spydie wire clip is def my fav pocket clip, currently carrying a mantra with it, but also have the manix, dragonfly, sage, and a couple others with it.

My fishing buddy has a BIL that is INTO knives. Has knives everywhere along with all the correct blade sharpening tools. He also calls him BIL, that's why I asked.
