Maybe just in area they were fishing but that makes NOAA 0/60 on forecast on snapper fishing days last two years

We went to Main Pass area (from Chef Pass) yesterday. Caught several at a rig in 90 ft of water, but they were smallish. Went to another rig in 200 ft and got our 5 man limit of Red Snapper by 9:30.

No luck finding AJs, or mangroves afterwards (or anything but sharks), but it was still a great day.

The ride home was rough, but seas were not bad in the morning.

Calm morning Friday, but when I rode back out in the afternoon to carry a spare prop to an old boy that spun a hub 25 miles out, it had gotten quite sporty. Glad we were in a big Cat and not that single engine 23’ mono hull those guys were.

Sea Tow annual membership is cheaper than 50 miles round trip on a Cat.

Southeast of Cocodrie today was fine. A tad choppy this morning but it was almost slicked out on the ride home this afternoon. S

South Tim was a nice 2-3 foot chop yesterday.
Laid down late.
Found a nice pocket of water in the way in.
Shot 6 cobies all 30 to 50#.

Sea Tow does not operate out of Fourchon (or I believe Cocodrie). Port Fourchon Harbor Patrol, and Terrebone and Lafourche Parish Sheriff offices handle towing in those areas. Offshore, seems like we all use the buddy system.
