This works great in my neighborhood, but to be honest, most of the ducks are already heading our way when we pull up in the golf cart.

Honestly It looks like a roost hole for a few wood and gray ducks. Maybe a straggling pair of greenheads here and there. Not trying to be a dick, just calling it as I see it with 20yrs of killing ducks under my belt. Wish you the best tho baw

No offense taken. I live a few hours away so I'd probably only be able to get down twice a month, anyways. If I can limit four or five times over the season I'll be more than happy.

Better pour the corn to it if you want those results.

I'd say your best bet is to go out one morning before daylight and do some scouting of the place...looks like it could draw woodducks and maybe a few other ducks. just go sit there for a few hours and see what comes around...that will tell you a whole lot about what you are dealing with. scouting is a heck of a big part of hunting, as if nothing is around, there is nothing in the world that you can do to change that...

yeah, this is sage advice. problem is, every time i get a chance to go down that early I end up in a tree stand with my rifle. But you're right, I should really do this. Do you know where I could get some info on whether or not I'm under a flyway? Called DU and they weren't much help. Thanks!

nah, you are not gonna be able to get info with that level of detail anywhere but sitting there yourself.

if you like deer hunting, why not do both at once?....just take your rifle and or even a little ground blind and just go and sit on the edge of your pond. if you see a deer, kill it...if not, you will have the chance to check out your duck hole as well.
