I will be hitting up Destin this weekend. Any thoughts on bait for the bay side? Live, artificial?

We always did better in the surf, early morning top waters.

I caught a couple small Pompanos and a million hard tails on one of these

There are plenty of flounder to be caught in the pass towards the end of October through November. You may be a few weeks early but its worth a shot.
