Never fished this area. Usually go all the way to Bayou Black. Fished north Lake Des Allemends many years ago. How is the Sac au lait fishing in this area. Is it as crowded as Bayou Black? Anyone have a recent report? Any boating hazards a newb should look out for?

I just went to a wedding shower in the bayou gauche area. House was right by the levee. Saw a kid catching catfish. Looked like a good place to bring the pirogue.
