Usually, we make our own sausage, but this year I am too busy. I would rather drop the meat and pick up sausage ready to go.

Who do you recommend?

We have used Nonc Kev's in Rayne in the past, but I am just looking for other options.

Update: I went with Best Stop. It’s so close to my house and I love their regular smoked sausage. I got it back and it’s delicious.

He puts out a damn good product. It's impressive how clean his facility is as well.

Pretty sure Nunu’s processes deer too, and IMO, their sausage is better than Best Stop and pretty much even with Kartchners. Let us know prices when you check them out.

So, I called everyone around. Thanks for the suggestions. the going price is $4/lb add $0.50/lb to be vacuum sealed and packed.

I'm going to give Kartchner's a chance as it is extremely close to my house. I'm going to pack it all my self.

As is mine. Drop a contact. I can give you a pack from Best Stop and Kartchners to try if you’d like unless you’ve already dropped it.

As is everything else …processing prices will be high this year, went to Robert Taylor’s in gonzales for deer burritos, last year they were $1.80/ which I thought was pricey, but they were damn good, went back this week and now they are $3.00 a piece….wow, still got some, but damn
