I shot a nanny upside the head once with my bow. Actually it was with my arrow. But anyway it didn't work and I never found her. Will never do something so foolish again. I have no qualms with ear holing one with a rifle. I mean a bullet. It's a very effective meand of a quick kill. I know a feller, cool sumbitch, who has a perfect track record ear holing nannies with a .17. I wouldn't do that though on account of it's illegal.

Had a 7 year old do this. He was sitting in my lap, deer was 75 yds standing broadside looking towards us. Hell of a way to kill your first deer.
