I am heading to pensacola tomorrow for my buddy's bachelor party. We are going deep sea fishing on saturday. What kind of fish should we expect to catch? I was not involved in booking the guide or anything like that but i know we are using Chulamar Charters and captain Bubba Thorsen.
Was hoping to get in on some tuna but i'm thinking it will be mostly drum and snapper.

Pretty sure blacktip sharks are plentiful

Red Snapper opens. So probably those. Probably catch some kings trolling in and out. Maybe triggers and other types of snapper at the wrecks you're fishing.
If you were on a tuna trip out of there, you would probably know it, they are generally longer. 8+ hours, I believe.

those edible?
Yup.
I would expect snapper (red & mangrove), amberjack, triggerfish, shallow-water grouper, and king mackerel with the possibility for mahi and cobia.

that's what i figured...i don't see any tuna pics on his website and we are only going for 8 hours. I figured we would have to do some kind of 12 hour to overnight arrangement for tuna.

Kings and snapper
yep...and if you're lucky mix in some grouper and cobia.
Tuna trips that way head back towards Louisiana waters/rigs and take all night.
