Heading down with the family this weekend and staying in a beach house at the west end. Anyone fished around there lately? The house is on the bay side. Was hoping to have a kayak by now, but it's not looking to good.

Wish I could help but I haven't been there in a couple of years. If you had a boat I could tell you where to go. You should be able to catch some whiting on the beach.

There might be a place to rent a kayak down there. Other wise I see a lot of folks fishing the bank near the golf course by sand island. It's a long arse walk out to that point tho. I've caught bull reds, jacks, and sharks there by boat.
