A friend is offering to sell me a Tatula 100 and a Tatula 200 HD. They are like new and he's giving me a very good deal. They are not the CT models. Are they any good? Is the 200 that much better than the 100?

If you're cranking on an umbrella rig...yes. The 200 is just a larger reel IIRC. And yes, they're nice reels. Very high winding speed though.

Good reels, very good casters and the HD has a heavy duty steel gear. The TAT 100 is
.7 onces heavier at 7.9. Than the CT model.

Bought one around Christmas, some website had em on sale. It's a very good reel IMO, very smooth and casts a mile.

Around $100 for the 200 and a little less for the 100.

I'll see what he wants to do. Also What's the difference in the Fuego and the Tatula?

I'd rather have the tat because it has that TWS system.

They seem to basically be the same reel other than the Twing right? Is it that good of a system, I've read mixed reviews on it.

I bought both reels, one for $100 and the other for $80. They both are essentially brand new. I do quite a bit of fishing, but nothing hardcore. I should be set up for a few years now, with the 2 Tatulas and an ORRA SX2, and an older Daiwa spinner and baitcaster.
