Here's another short video I did today about the Cryptic Bolt Carrier in my 16" BCM. It has run great in a little over 100 rounds and hope it continues.

I've been looking for the best one. Good to have someone do my research for me.
How do you feel about ToolCraft BCGs by the way? They supply the BCGs that Cryptic actually does the metal treatment for. I know you're pretty knowledgeable about milspec parts and such.

Kind of like asking how I feel about Anchor Harvey forged uppers and lowers. They are big supplier for other OEM's so it's entirely possible to have one of their BCG's if you own a Colt, Spike's, BCM, or any of a dozen other manufacturer's rifles. They are perfectly good parts in other words but because they are good and a heck of a lot cheaper they are damned hard to find direct-sourced. Used to see the complete phosphate coated BCG's for $60 - $70.

That was one thing I noticed. Their site seemed to only list wholesale or mil/LE for direct sale.
But good to hear they make good stuff! Hopefully this carrier takes everything I throw at it.

Bump.
Cryptic Coatings commented on my video about their relationship with ToolCraft. They said they take care of low volume retail sales.

"I'm going to read through this real quick", six minute video

shite, damned quick compared to NutNFancy. 45 minutes for 3 minutes of actual content...

I'm carrying some DLC (diamond like coating) coated BCGs that I want you to run through some paces and do a review on. From the looks of Cryptic website, I think this is the same coating found on their Mystic Black BCG (which if it is their price is ridiculous). Anyway, DLC is the shite. Let me know if you are interested.

After I get this one tested I may be interested in that. I didn't think there were a ton of companies that did BCG coatings, just a handfull maybe. But good to see competition out there.
