Anyone know of somewhere you can take your kids to fish for crawfish? I don't have a boat. Any ideas would be great!

We used to pick 'em out of the spillway. They might have it gated off now, but pick up a sack or so every time we went.

I see guys all along the side of highway in the drainage ditches on I-10 around the pearl river, but that might be a haul.

I'm sure most WMA's would allow it, but check with the LDWF if you venture out on any. G'luck.

Thx. Just read on LA Sportsman about fishing South Farm in Sherburne. May look into that. Just want to show my boys how I used to do it when I was young.

I went to the spillway a while back and struck out, so I just set up on the side of 51 and caught a sack in about 6 hours
