put in icechest, lightly cover with ice,,, pull plug on icechest,,, leave small crack in lid....just keep ice on them

this is right on, i like to hose mine down to get the gunk off right before i put on some ice, and then again when i am putting the some more ice on

Just make sure you prop up one side of the chest so water can drain.
