I shattered my frames on my Costa's today. It is a discontinued color of frames. Can anyone explain the warranty? Has anyone had anything like this happen before?

TIA

Pretty easy to get done ... Go to the website and it is one of the easiest things I have done ... Just sent my pair in today

great process, you go online, fill out a claim form, print out the info, pay $12, and mail it to them.

I had a cracked lens, but they didn't charge me any extra to fix because there was delamination. No my frames are chipping, and I'm about to send them in again.
Cheaper than another new pair. Turnaround was like 21 days.

Broke a few frames. From my experiences, you'll probably ship it back and it'll be $60 because the frame breaking from "over use" isn't covered under warranty. Still cheaper than a new pair.

I shattered my lenses about 2 months ago. My nose pads were worn to nothing and arms were loose so they sent me a new pair and I only paid $60 for the lense repair. I had the hammerheads in tortoise but they no longer offer that color so I got to choose new frame color. Go online and fill out repair form, the whole process took about 3 weeks.

Shattered lense a couple of years ago. Paid 11.95 for claim, then 99.00 plus shipping for repair.

Just forewarning you

Mine were discontinued and they said they'd replace with any frame I wanted. I put it off for a month and they shipped them back to me since I didn't tell them what I wanted, with a note that the claim was denied.

I put in a claim recently on a pair for bad lenses and bad nose pad. They were virtually new glasses. They said they would replace the frames for free, but to replace the lenses it would be $90 because they couldn't see anything wrong with them (I and 2 others agreed that the lenses were blurry). I told them to ship them back and I will return them to the store where I bought them-what I probably should have done to begin with.

I guess it's time to look at a new pair of Ray Bans or Smiths.
