Every outlet is pretty biased one way or another. It's a legitimate news source. You just have to filter through the opinion.

I had a Professor tell a class I attended while living in GA that there are two words that don't appear in the African American dictionary. The words were equity and monogamy. He went on to explain how that they understand either concept. He was fired a short time thereafter but I remember it to this day.
It is frustrating to see so few take advantage of the opportuntinites they are given. Its a complex issue with the family unit in the center, the legacy of slavery and racism still in their face and a culture of violence and distrust that may never be repaired.

You are smart to be wary. This may be a trial balloon.
They made one significant error in their strategy, though.
By going all out and promising significant changes to gun laws, now they have to deliver something or risk being made a laughingstock.
They forgot two things: how slow politics moves and how quickly Americans lose interest in current events, even significant, tragic events.

I love when the media acts like it was the NRA that scared the American public into doing this.

I wouldn't be surprised, even if no AWB or mag restrictions take place, to see a continued buying of everything. I think this has awakened a great many folks to prepare in the immediate future after this.

I think he may have that title 4-5 years running.
There's something like 1,000,000 AR type rifles in private hands, IIRC. Crime is at an all time low and gun violence, outside of the shithole urban areas, continues to fall.
So let's ban guns!
