Not really a trade, but I had a basic Craftsman lawnmower that was in good condition, started on 1st or 2nd pull. I put it on Craigslist, asking $80.

Guy contacts me and comes over to take a look at it. A little tiny Oriental guy shows up. I start it, and even ran it over a small section of my lawn.

The guy starts it himself, props it up and looks at the blade. Then stops the motor and offers me $5.00. Five dollars!!! I asked him if he was joking and he said, "no joking, I give five dollar".

I told him that before I took $5 for it, I would drain the oil and start it and watch the engine burn up.
