Lemons and sharks tend to hang out together from my experience.
Sometimes it's a matter of chumming up the mass of fish then sight fishing for the good guys.

Its difficult sometimes you have to fight through the shite fish and sharks sometimes it's not worth it all depends on if you wanna frick with it
I spent some time behind a boat a few yrs ago kept catching sharks and jacks then I caught a 72# cobia and 53# cobia its also more of a luck thing I reckon

Chum chum chum and when you seen tuna start falling back and slowly chum. chances are the sharks will stay by the boat and the tuna will venture out

Regarding running over the nets they are usually fishing in 300+ feet of water. Boats take turns at back of shrimper and drift back chumming and if you are lucky a few tuna follow your chum. Be there when they pull that net up and it is like a NatGeo show with sharks and everything else feeding like crazy.

Sharks won't spook big YF. Some captains will get a few baskets of chum and pull some big yellows away from the shrimp boat starting their own slick.
