Are there any?

My dog tears up every bed I get for him. I've tried the thicker water proof shelled ones as well as the cot type beds. He's locked in his 10'x6' kennel all day and entertains himself by destroying anything i put in there. he's been on the concrete for the last 4 months, but i'm willing to give it one last try.

Any time I think about getting mine a new one, I just throw a twenty dollar bill in the kennel. It's a whole lot easier to clean up than all that filling from the bed.

What is he doIng to tear it up? If he is using his mouth, consider a soft muzzle...

Hay. Mine ripped all of his up too. And destroyed his automatic watering system.

he's chewing them up. i might try a muzzle, but i think he would rather lay on the concrete than have a muzzle on his mouth.

Have to put one on my oldest shorthair. He breaks out of cages and opens doors with his mouth. He hates the muzzle, but it is better for my home...

Probably not. When my female was younger she chewed everything up. I mean there wasn't a damn thing safe. My brothers lab chewed a how in the kitchen floor and the electrical socket off.

What kind of dog is it?

How old is it?

Are there other chew toys that taste better in the crate with your dog?

How much exercise does the dog get?

I dont know about the siding but if you have a tractor supply or a farm coop get a bale of pine chips. I use them and they are only about 5 dollars a bale. Easy to rake up too.

One of my daughters Great Danes goes thru beds once a week. That dog would be sleeping on the ground. She tryed everything and still just rips them up.

My two labs have graduated to pallets with plywood on top. They keep digging holes where they lay and its holding water under there 10x10 cover I made them. I built them a 30x40 pen so Im not pooring concrete.

True story. I had a lab puppy about 20 years ago. I was using an old crate and leaving him crated when I left the house. Well, this old crate had a gash in it from falling out of my truck. Well, one day I crate him and headed out for a few hours. Come back, the damn dog is laying on the floor and my crate had a huge hold in it where he chewed a hole in it from the opening at the gash.

I have a shock collar if you need to borrow it.. I would just sit and wait for him to start chewing it and then shock the shite out of him.. It would only take a couple of times and he would be done chewing them up.

2 year old GSP. no other toys, but i do put a bone in there about every other day. i need to exercise him more, but I can only do take him out in the afternoon. so it wouldn't make a difference for the chewing, as he does it during the day.

yea he definitely has one of those. the few times i've caught him i have scolded him and what not but he doesnt by the time the next day rolls around. i'll have to sit in the window and put a bed in there and watch him. hopefully that will solve it.

If he is 2, he is about to grow out of his "puppiness". So age might help. My labs generally stopped their chewing between 2 and 2 1/2. My guess is he needs more exercise, but if you can't do that I would just go to wood chips or pine straw.

Best of luck to you.
