From article on a small war that took place last week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between Brazilian forces and hundreds of drug traffickers.

Both. Which means it should def go on your gun imo

ETA: I actually think it would be pretty difficult to break the habit of looking down the barrel. Prolly useless

I'm debating moving my sight/scope forward to put a flip up behind it in case my battery dies.
<----

I don't think the side mount eotech is my answer... that just seems ridiculous.

i dont care for it, but it does work. he has a long range scope on the top rail, but with the eotech he's also covered for short range.

and those guys do have some badass guns. Love the SBR AR's and the FAL's.

That would be useful for short stocking and popping corners and windows.

They appear to be the tactical version of the same padded glves football lineman often wear.

As far as the two offset sights, I have seen competition shooters that have their AR's set up this way for easy transition from short to long range shots by simply rotating the gun. I have seen most in a Y shapped pattern each approximately 22.5 degrees off of center on custom rails. Having the sight on the "inside" of the gun would make rotating it difficult though as it is much easier to rotate the bottom of the gun outward versus inward.

I'm looking at this on my phone, so I can't really tell for sure, but wouldn't this create a blind spot in your vision, created by the scope? At about 1 o'clock?

I think the red dot is clear of any obstruction since it's at a 90 degree angle to the ACOG.

Can't tell. To me seems like it's pretty low on the frame.

Must work good for that dude cause he's workin it in the Realz.

Your point is probably the chicken dinner winner, best as I can tell from the pic.

That makes a lot of sense in theory.

Although I am a huge fan of our freedoms and the right to bear arms, I would not post a pic of my young sons holding an AR on the net. It may come back to haunt him in future years.
