Wal Mart is closing out the Center point dagger 390 for 148.00. I bought one when they were 158.00 and got it put together and shot it today and the damn thing shoots ! After setting the scope I shot 2 at 20 yards and one hit the nock of the other. Not bad for 150.00. Don't wanna hear the whining about me using a crossbow, if your back was as bad as mine you would too ! So anyone looking to get into one cheap here's a deal. I did buy some Barnett headhunter bolts at Dick's sporting goods on sale for 33.74 for 5 and those are what I was shooting and will shoot. They also had the Rage Hypodermic 100 grain broadheads for 22.10 so for a little over 2 bills I'm good to go.

I bought the center point sniper a few years ago and it’s been solid. I went to a Ravin and my son and a buddy have killed 5 deer with the center point since I have moved from it. They shoot muzzy tricor fixed broadheads and we haven’t lost a deer yet. Very good and accurate crossbow for the money. Absolutely a tack driver 40 yards and in.

Aspirin and water before bed. Let things relax and heal.

Take 8-10 grams of fish oil a day.

Also... Would these kill an armadillo?

Thats a great deal!

Who cares what someone says about what you choose to hunt with? Same guys that criticize will grab a .35 whelen with $1000 glass on top then tell you they killed the deer with a “primitive weapon”.

I’m usually the one scoffing at these but want to get one for my boys. Oldest is 7. Would this thing be too long for a kid to handle?

I don't think so as far as shooting it, but of course he couldn't cock it. Stock is adjustable. It is heavy though, I'd say they might need a rest to shoot from.

10-4. Found a couple videos of some kids shooting it. Looks pretty manageable with a good rest.

Thanks for the tip. the kids have been telling me I needed to get one. Just ordered an outfit. Probably don't need it but they will enjoy playing with it too.

Yes they are. I've the Specialist XL370. upgraded the bolts and scope. It's a tackdriver. I use 100gr Slick Trick xbow broadheads. Haven't lost a deer yet.

I shot a hog this weekend with a Center Point. Such an awesome sound hearing that arrow hit. I'm borrowing it from a buddy.

I'm going to get me a compound bow tomorrow.

I will suggest to anyone that buys one of these, you will probably need to shorten the cocking rope. After I shortened mine it became much easier to cock. It was too long as it came.

Got mine also. It shoots great, but I too had to tie a knot in the rope about 6" shorter.
