So last night around 1 am I started hearing strange noises in the backyard. Our bedroom has windows looking out onto it. We don't have a fence yet and we are surrounded by woods. It sounded like a strange snorting. Last night I thought it was hogs but it sounded a little different. It startled me enough where I did not go back to sleep for awhile.
So I decided to check the deer cam after work today. At first from watching the video I thought it was just a deer.
Start at 15 seconds and look at the far upper right corner. The eyes look like a deer. But then at 27 seconds it suddenly gets very tall. I don't know. Do yall think that it is just a deer? Seems very tall.

Looks like deer came in with it's head down and then raised it at the end

deer feeding on ground lifted head.

I would much rather it be just a deer rather than a bear.

I agree with others. Deer with its head down and lifts it up

I'm going bear. When it lifts it's head, the eyes jerk in a way that mimics what you see when a bear goes from all fours to standing on it's hind legs.
They make a tight circular motion just as it builds up the energy to stand up.

Am I the only one seeing two sets of eyes?

post a pic in the daylight or with another animal so we can get some depth perception

I don't have a clue but if its a deer, your camera is in a horrible downward angle and way too low. If thats a deer your camera must be like 6 inches of the ground?

Just measured. It is exactly 3 feet on the tree.

Just made a video right now. Nothing is on it but you can see everything in the daylight. Yes, I need to mow.
Day time video
Deer from day time.
Deer daytime
This should help with depth perception.

that's no deer IMO. my first reaction was a bear because of the "laboring" motion it makes as it's walking up.

i want to believe it was a bear, but the more i watch it, the deer with it's head down theory makes more sense.
