Capybara in Louisiana?

Have a friend that works for a large land owner here in the state. He videoed an animal today that strongly resembles one. Head was def different than a nutria or beaver

This was on our hunting lease on 4-H club road. It weighed 120ish pounds. Green jeans said it was likely a pet that escaped or got turned loose. We hauled it to the gut pile not knowing they're good to eat. Guy shot it for a hog late one evening.

Yes it is, I know where he is at and the land owners right across the levee had some on their place and they have been getting out.
