I want to build one of those truck bed extenders that fit into the trailer hitch opening. I know harbor freight use to sell them cheap but doesnt carry them anymore. Where can you buy the square tubing from?

Where are you located? I just bought (and returned) one to Harbor Freight in Baton Rouge yesterday. They don't have them on the shelf. You have to ask them to get it from the back for you. Be sure to ask for it by item number too, Item #45830.

no, it was solid. I was using a bumper-mounted receiver and apparently my bumper has a slight downward angle that's barely noticeable but by extending it out, it made it so that the extender only had about 4" of ground clearance.
