Can't find the info anywhere. I have some chickens and I know they are legal. Older neighborhood-no hoa handbook or dues.
East baton rouge parish.

I don't see why not. We should see some pics of you in the backyard to make a proper assessment of the situation.

Just took a quick glance, and I think it's ok according to the parish code, since pigs and goats are not considered "wild animals" Take a look for yourself and make sure. Also, you need to check into any applicable city code (assuming that you are within city limits other than Baton Rouge).

Here's the EBR Parish code:

I think the pig can be classified as exotic. Don't overfeed, and get good mini pig lines or you will end up with something like this...

I don't see why not. If it's a huge goat, it might get territorial, but a little goat and little pig, doesn't sound like a big deal.

Just make sure they have room to run around and get ready for them to tear up your yard.

I have a big yard. I'm hoping the female goat (ab as big as a lab) will eat the grass. The pig should be 35-45lbs. I don't have many dead spots-having to cut the grass 2x a week. Damn chickens fertilizing the shite ( ) out of my grass.

this...better hope the goat keeps the grass down, because you are not gonna be able to mow with a lawnmower....

For real I have another friend with a goat in a neighborhood. They never have to mow. They tie it to a string in the front yard so he can eat the grass up there too. People drive by real slow and take pics when he's out there

FYI the pig has the intelligence of a 3 year old child and will live 20-25 years...

My friend with the goat (goats name is Billy) doesn't have problems with the goat rutting up the yard. Billy keeps it manicured. They don't even feed him goat food anymore. I do worry about my potential goat eating on my camper though.

Everything I read says how smart pigs are. I can't wait to teach my pig some pig tricks.
People
Monkeys
Pigs
That's what I heard.

Boar? I can't have a boar! I want a little cute 40lb pig. That says weeeeeeee and holds one of those windmill toys. That's going to be her first trick.
