Camping enthusiasts, I have a question about a portable propane stove.

How do I get the perfect temperature for my water? This monkey picked oolong tea is very sensitive and needs to be set in a precise temperature. Thanks. :^)

I'm the guy at the site with a french press and 5 course meals. Gotta keep the old lady happy.

This.

If I am just heating up some water, I'll light up my propane burner from my crawfish cooker and get it up to temp in a couple minutes. A digital thermometer will help greatly. If it is too cold to go out without my first cup of coffee, I'll use an Pocketrocket to heat a cup of water quickly. Pocket Rocket burner

We used to bring a french press as well but now just use a percolator.

Pocket Rocket burner

Those are perfect for boiling water. For cooking, I prefer the classic trail stoves like this one from Primus.

It has a bigger burner and does a much better job of cooking as opposed to just boiling water (which the Pocket Rocket is perfect for btw).
