Pics from my trip. Caught 15 yellowtail, all about the same size. Trolled for both yellowfin and roosterfish for hours with no bites. caught the yellow tail on the way out and back in. Wanted to go out for some billfish, but they said the bite had faded the week before. After speaking to others we met, that went out for marlin, I am glad we didn't try

our resort

stalone and brad pitt have a house here, just on the other side of the mountain from where we stayed, they seemed kind of obsessed with stalone

Black Mexican elvis, and not me in the photo

Awesome pictures man. I'd blow up one of those nice sunrise pictures and frame it.

Enjoy eating those YTs....yum. We get into them every year south of San Diego. A 40 or 50 lb YT will pull your damn arm off.

Your guide doesn't know a fricking thing or he didn't want to screw with the marlin. Boat is down there till Nov and over 15 were caught 2 weeks ago one a 6 day trip

it wasn't the guide, it was the guy who owns the fleet, and several other companies were the same. Marlin rates were less than 1 per boat with full day trips, for the majority of the marina. We spoke to several other people we met, that had no luck as well, coming from different outfits. One caught a sailfish, on the way back in on a 10 hour trip. I couldn't care less, we had a good time despite it being cold and foggy. Sure I would have like to catch/fish for Marlin. the odds were less than likely though to have a good time
