Brushing a Deer Stand Advice

I came into possession of a tri-pod stand at my deer lease over the weekend. It doesn't have any "camo" on it so I need to add some. I'm thinking about camo burlap all the way around or possible camo netting. These are both pretty cheap and that I kinda what I am wanting here.
Any suggestions/alternatives?

any wrap will do. Lots of our stands have a basic black wrap on them.
For a box stand, it's movement the deer will catch, not the color of the material. That stand will be there 24/7; they;ll be used to it

camo burlap
You'll find the standard size packs are the perfect length to go around a tripod.

Stay away from burlap, It gives off a distinct smell when wet and dry that alerts. Musty, mildew smell, Go with a more army style netting

Also, burlap rots away after a year or two. The only way to preserve it is to spray with Scotchguard or soak it in some type of water repellent.

I would use the camo netting. I have a couple of ladder stands as well as a platform tripod stand I fabricated and it has lasted three years so far and probably has another season left in it. Only thing about the netting is it will catch on just about anything you are wearing while trying to get in the stand so be careful it doesn't cause you to fall.

The thing that concerns me about the netting is that it is pretty see-thru. Doesn't hide movement well.

That Walmart burlap is nasty crap. I have used mirafi woven material used for road construction. It's heavy duty , doesn't hold water , no smell , great wind repellent and last longer than any steel stand will.

What should concern you is that 30 degree morning with a 15 mph wind and you have a netting blocking you

I bought mossy oak all fabric shower curtains on sell for $1 a piece at walmart 3 years ago and they have been the best camo draping I have used. They have held up great in the sun and rain, the color has not faded, they have not torn, they have no smell, they come with holes pre cut for hanging them, and they are xtra long which works well with my long legs.
