Browning Buckmark or Ruger 22/45 Lite?

Stuck on these two for a .22 handgun.
Browning feels amazing but Ruger looks better. Also hear the Ruger stripdown is a pain in the arse. Anybody have any opinions on either of them?

I'd go with what feels the best. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I have the 22/45 lite, strip down is a bit retarded, but it's a good gun.

You can change how a 22/45 feels. Aftermarket support is phenomenal. Yes they suck to tear down but then again they don't need it for basic maintenance. Mine sees a little clp and a bore snake every few hundred rounds and never misses a beat.

This is to easy. Just hold each up and shake them. The Ruger is like a baby raddle.
I have the Browning and had past well over 2k rounds thru it. Never had a jam. I even tree rat hunt with it.
If you like the Ruger, go with the Sportsman. Best they ever made and very easy to break down.

True dat!! OTOH, I can count on one hand (and have nearly all my fingers left) how many times I done a complete breakdown. Just use some CLP and Bore Snake as already mentioned.
I've had a Ruger Mk 1 for MANY yrs, but I'll prolly get a 22/45 Lite once my suppressor gets in. The Buckmark is a fine gun and I've enjoyed shooting one, but the 22/45 Lite feels as light as a feather and balances nicely, even w/ a suppressor.
