Well the GWs are actually a hybrid with neo on the bottom and breathable up top.

Nah. The ones I linked are these: LINK which are 100% breathable, not half neo.

You're probably thinking of these: Game Winner® Men's Hybrid Neoprene Breathable Boot-Foot Waders - $139.99 which are half and half.

I have the first pair and love them, never worn the second pair.

You're right. I opened your link the first time and they looked like the ones I was talking about. So yeah, I have the hybrids and love them for the marsh

They look damn near identical.

And both the original ones I linked and the half-n-half have pretty solid reviews for waders. Point being, you don't need to shell out $250 for waders

Bump for review.

So I went to Puglia's the other day and they had the Lacrosse Swamp Foxes for like $169 or $179 or something. They only had a couple left but one was my size. I tried them on and went with those, really just because the GWs didn't have any insulation in the boot whatsoever. I hunted in them both days last week and they're pretty awesome. No judgment on durability yet, but we'll see. The boots are pretty tight around the ankles and need to be broken in a bit, but they don't slide at all. Here's to hoping they hold up.

I'm wearing mine with shorts right now. A little warm on the legs but I'm dry and comfortable.

Banded gets some hate, but I have a double gun case and a blind bag from them and they are head and shoulders better as far as quality when comparing to Drake.

Drake makes shite that I don't think any hunter would design.

Macks now have a leak in the boot. Can't find the leak and I doubt Macks will warrant it.

We were hunting last year and my buddy had a pair of Mack's waders that were 5 yr old. He had a leak above the knee and they gave him a brand new pair.

Bought a pair of Game Winner breathables during teal season. Liked them so much that I got a pair of 3.5mm the other day. They are a steal for $130. I'm not sure who makes them, but I would guess it's whoever is making waders for some of the other well known brands, they are much better than they used to be.

I will never own neoprene waders again. I bought a pair of the lacrosse alpha swampfox waders a couple of years ago and I love them. It just doesn't get cold enough down here for me to have neoprene. I have also borrowed a pair of the banded breathable ones before and those were really comfortable. I hate to say it, but if money isn't an issue I would get the banded ones.
