i have a bottle of brake fluid in my garage that has been opened for +/- 2 years. i put saran-wrap over the mouth of the bottle and put the cap on tight after using the little bit i needed to years ago.
is it still any good or should i go get another bottle?

Brake fluid is hydroscopic. Draws moisture out of the air. Water will break down the fluid

Use it to start a fire or something. Buy a new can for whatever you're planning to use it for

It's still good. Brake fluid is hygroscopic but a well sealed bottle like that would result in virtually nothing getting into it. I've had an opened container in the supply box of my truck for years to top off the clutch reservoir when the slave cylinder had a very minor leak. If you are due for brake work just use it flush the lines and buy a bottle to refill.
