I have a shotgun with a wood stock that I want to have cut down for a youth length of pull and install a new butt pad. Any recommendations for a gunsmith in the BR area that could do this?
TIA

depending on make/model, it may be easier to order a youth size butt stock and do it yourself. Then put original back on the gun later when he needs it.

Jim’s Firearms did an 1100 for me a few years ago. Great job but took a few weeks to get it back.

Eduardo Chahin over near Jones Creek/Harrell’s Ferry. He’s old school, thankfully has a couple younger guys coming in to learn what he knows while he’s still working.

Did he finally bring someone in? I know he was training a guy up, when the younger guy got pretty good at handling work himself, he got offered a spot in the Midwest (Ohio?) that doubled or tripled his pay. Eduardo is the real deal.

Maybe that's who I was seeing. I went in there 2 or 3 times last fall and he had a 35/40 year old white guy doing most all of the work with EC's guidance.
