These guys at LA Bowfishing might be just a little fricked

LINK

Cliffs:
booked with possession of an untagged alligators,
fishing in a closed zone (during guided bow fishing trips with the company),
possession of alligators during a closed season,
taking alligators without a license,
hunting at night,
failure to abide by commercial rules and regulations,
also failed to comply with state deer-tagging regulations

Something about the smirk on this guys face grinds my gears

Their dad who started the business died in 2006. I'm sure he's proud of his boys.

Seriously. You would think if you're going to outlaw, you wouldn't do it with customers in the boat.

Captains - Louisiana Bowfishing

Blake and Neil are the sons of the late Captain Jimmy Mitchell (1963-2006). Following in his footsteps, the boys operate the original bowfishing charter company of Louisiana. Raised on these waters, their passion and dedication to this sport was recognized early in life and the boys bowfished recreationally and competitively earning the title of "World Champions" and "The Most Fish Ever Shot in a Tournament". They frequently acted as deckhands on their father's chartered trips, learning the marsh and gaining skills necessary to hosting an extraordinary experience. Now, the Mitchell boys are all licensed captains, registered chartered fishermen, and members of Louisiana's Bowfishing Association. Let them take you to the limit!

I started a thread about a year ago talking about how bad these guys' bowfishing charter trips were. One landowner stopped us telling us we were trespassing in private ponds.. Then the guy in the middle pic above was shooting all of our fish... What a bunch of dumbasses

Killed 7 limits (with 7 hunters) with these guys one night in about hour and half spent 3 more hrs shooting drum and sheepshead. I think we ended with 70 something fish. It was unreal clear that night. And He wouldn't let us shoot his limit or the deckhands but this was right after he was arrested in 2011.. But then we tried to go back and he tried to call and say the wind was too bad he didn't want us to come and not be able to shoot any. My weather app said 6 mph winds. We told him we were coming anyway and he said no he wasn't gona "still" our money. We told him aging we understand the risk but we were still coming and he flat out said no he wast going. Then he said "we will reschedule" I just laughed.. I called marsh masters and they had a group back out so we went with them that night and limited out. a few days later he sent me a msg wanting us to come that weekend. I sent him a picture from marsh masters and the date and said no thanks.. Haha the end

Know The Truth
Hello everyone!!!! My name is Nicole. I am Captain Blake Mitchell's older sister. I am extremely disappointed by some of the comments that were said, so I am going to set the record straight. ALL of this started with my father, Captain Jimmy Mitchell. He was definitely a outlaw, in which I am not bragging about, but simply just stating the truth. WILDLIFE AND FISHERY HATED MY FATHER/FAMILY. Anyway, the first time the story came out in the newspaper about Blake, they put my father's age behind my brother's name. Honestly, the one time Blake decided to do wrong, he got caught. He is fully aware what he did was wrong, and he accepts it, but the way he was portrayed to be was extremely wrong. I am not saying this because he is my brother. Just know, he is truly a wonderful person, and would do anything for anyone!!!!!!

I know these men (one being my little brother) and it's bogus!!! They would catch them with their hands for their clients to look at & release them. Had no idea it was illegal to touch a gator.... The person who "turned them in" was a competitor who is trying to shut them down as they are amazing with their business and the competitor is losing business and he has connections with the wildlife and fisheries!!! It's sad that they are being falsely accused and arrested for being good business men and a crooked businessmen and wildlife officer are doing this!
