Except the 17s is a 308 rifle rather than a 5.56. The Scar 16s is the 5.56 version.

I don't think a piston gives us much over DI ARs, so I'd put the money into the 308. DI ARs now run like a top.

I'd also rather have 2 Colts than 1 LWRC. HOWEVER, if you've got the cash for it, go cat go!

I'm sure it's smooth as silk. And I know DI ARs are considerably more light weight. They certainly have their advantages.
