Only carry cash instead of debit or credit cards, otherwise you'll just end up having to buy another one soon.

I've never used Ed Brown mags and mainly stick with Wilsons. I have heard some good things about Chip McCormick mags.

Checkmate Industries are great and not costly. Tripp Cobras are great, just higher dollar. Wilson makes great mags, I personally don't like plastic follower though.

Awesome guns man.

Mine isn't as nice as yours, but I have a Remington R1 and I use Wilson Combat with no problems whatsoever. I also have VZ grips and they are definitely the way to go.

Oh yeah...and be careful with "drop in" parts for the gun as far as internals/hammer/etc. I have a couple of mods done to mine and from my experience most 1911 mods require fitting.

UPDATE: I bought 2 Wilson Combat 7 round mags and new WC baseplates for the factory mags. And some grips.

For the SIG:
Operator II Black Cherry

and
Simonich Gunner Tiger Stripe

I really like the Gunners but I have to see them in person.

And these for the .22
Diamond Back Battleship Gray

All the grips were 50% off (under $32 each) from Amazon.

I have VZ grips on my 1911's. I like the rougher texture as it gives a more positive grip. Some folks who shoot my guns complain they are too rough on their hands. Might want to feel them before you buy as they aren't cheap.

ETA: the black cherry almost looks like wood grips in person. My favorite.

Has anyone bought the Wilson Combat magazine follower and spring kit for their factory mags? Might add those as well to my grocery basket.

What you should do is put some rounds thru it, make sure it's reliable and you like it. Then start putting money into the gun.
