Can anyone suggest a place to store my boat? It's a 20 foot Crownline bowrider. I live in Prairieville and would like to have my boat near/on the water rather than having to trailer it, launch it, etc. Thanks for your help.

I have launched at the Galveztown Landing and Storage and they some covered spots. Always LDWF boats there. Not sure if they have availability. It is a little north of Fred's.

Like he said Galveztown - aka Big John's on Hwy 42. Besides that there is a place on the Diversion Canal, Wick might know more about that one though.

That's where I've been launching my boat as it is a short drive from my house. I need to check their pricing for storage.

ALso Cypress Harbor on the Amite near the Wier on the Diversion canal. It's on the same road off HWY 16 as Hilltop Restaurant/Launch/Bar.

There are some slips for rent on the Diversion Canal down River Highlands. I have no idea the price.

Same with me. Its a decent launch without a bunch of arse hats chiming in on what you should/need to do while launching.

I was told $100 per month from a friend of mine who keeps his boat there.

Whatever you do, DO NOT drive faster than 5 mph at big johns. You have been warned.

I dont think I could get up to 5 before slowing down to go over the ropes

One time, I could swear I wasn't going fast, but big john or whoever owns the place came and told me a few choice words about slowing down.

It is a pretty nice launch though. MUCH rather go there than Fred's.

Fred's remodel looks to be a long ways from finished.
