Plan on spending 2 to 4k on the engine/outdrive in the next two years, then you decide if it is a good deal.

Plan on having to fix 1 thing every two/three days on the water, then you decide if it is a good deal.

Yeah that's not what I think about when I think fish n ski. It's like 10% fish n 90% ski.

Do you want a 5 month boating season or a 12? If you're in an area that gets cold, you will have to shut it down and have it winterized. I bought an I/o as well. Great boat (Tahoe q7) but I shut it down in October and do not crank her up until April.
