I don't imagine any of them (women or men) smelled very good back then either. Imagine no AC in August in SELA. In a wool turtle neck dress and corset.

I'll take the young bare skinned/ neatly groomed ladies of today that smell like whatever that stuff is the strippers wear. I know its shitty stripper perfume, but damn it smells good.

I was getting burned out reading books on cholesterol and the like. I'm currently delving into America's meat eating history and throughout different sources I've found the mention of bison heards and a shear magnitude of game that was abundant in this country. Even during WWI our boys were found to be "very fit, and large...much taller than a typical man" going back to the notion that our founding fathers and the like were all tall men. Our avg height has been on the decline.

Not to mention my fascination of pemmican.
