Thanks, man. I've heard stuff about some of those spots too. I'm planning to head to third weirs then depending on the wind either heading to west cove or pelican point.

and be careful around old jetties. there are plenty of rocks you dont see. let me know if you have any questions.

when you head into west cove head at a slight sw angle and look for the telephone poles on 27 to the north. when u start to see them line up u can just stop and drift. theres a large reef there. there used to be an old trappers shack on that southwest side u would line the poles up with but its long gone. just try to use that point. lamberts is a great place. its the 4th weir and ive smoked the trout there in the past. if its a south wind it should be money. i used to run from there to the old jetties chasin birds.

No. If we hit trout we will be back tomorrow . I'm west cove. Water is beautiful no bites yet.

We caught reds there before. Oyster Bayou. Heading south west cove then black bayou then maybe turners if we have time. Prien was chocolate milk this morning .

you guys are killing me!! Had to do some home plumbing then replaced all the boat trailer lights with sealed LED's. No more messing with blown lights. Got the boat hooked up and ready to so SOMEWHERE!!

Yep...got to the camp to hook up boat. Checked water. Broken pipe. Main line. Been plumbing since. Didn't get to fish. Now boat is hooked up and going to Browns grocery get has for the mernin and get some grocery
