My aunt and uncle own two lots on the lake and plan to build on one in a couple years. I've not been out there but they rave about it.

Did it ever.

I was checking this lake out and came across this presentation: LINK

I found this part of the conclusions humorous:

"Owner overconfidently relied on an underqualified Engineer who was overconfident, possibly a reflection of the local culture in Mississippi"

my brother has a camp/boathouse there since the 1990s . it is nice and quiet . not too many folks fish there . the older established lots are a lot of retired people. they are selling a lot of lots on the upper end of the lake right now near the Marina . I am presuming for weekend boathouse type houses for mainly weekend retreats
