Fishing marsh west of spicers Sunday morning. Heard some huffing and snorting coming from the marsh behind me, turned around in time to see a big arse red dog looking thing run just behind the cane/grass. I was sitting at water level, but damn it was big and definitely not a domesticated dog. Anyone know what the hell it was?

most likely a coyote...I have seen a good number of them in the marsh where the feast on rabbits. some are very big and healthy, while others have little hair and need a bullet....

Definitely a coyote now that I am looking at some photos. Never realized they could get that red. Thing was 5' from me and I am pretty sure he had no clue I was there...... Crazy. Did not know they are out there

Saw a good size coyote in Biloxi Marsh a few weeks back. Probably not a fox.
