I just passed this near Morgan City. Until I got right up on it, I thought it was a boat stacked on an upside down boat.

That's a heavy boat for those little 12" tires. That's a 115 evinrude from mid 80's.

It a normal flat boat with pontoons weld to sides for shallow water. Used for surveying marsh.

Them ain't pontoons, there is a false bottom about a foot beneath the boat.

They use the false bottom to traffic drugs. Pretty standard set up.

Shh, Baw that where i store my guns and bullets, so when i flip my boat in the bayou i can tell my wife, they at the bottom of the bayou. Then go by new ones.
