My grandparents have about 70 acres that I hunt occasionally. The property holds a good amount of Turkeys and Deer. My grandfather has a had a bad problem with Coyotes recently. We have seen several, and it is normal to hear them every night.

Whats the best way to get rid of some. Assuming predator calls?

Get some buddies, Ar15's and a predator call. Do it at night.

This is what we did at a lease I was on. It was buzzards everywhere eating on dead coyotes a couple weeks later.

Ive heard fishing hooks with hot dogs hung from tree limbs. Dont know the legality of it but would assume not good.

Buzzards aren't gonna die from eating a dead coyote who died because he couldn't digest anything.

When it comes to killing coyotes that kill my deer, turkeys, and rabbits there are no rules of engagement.

Coyotes are natural predators and in my opinion it isn't necessary to go genocide. Just shoot them when you see them.

Don't be a shite head and put grease soaked sponges out. Besides possibly getting a felony, people like me are using tracking dogs to find other people's deer. Loosing my tracking dog to a grease sponge would not sit well with me at all.

Ours are out of control. I can go out there 5 times with my AR and never see one. Got off my 4 wheeler today around 4pm to open a gate and saw 5 crossing the field

Sounds like a predator call is the way to go. Aren't there ones you can play with speakers? Is it as simple as just finding a well lit spot at night and playing the call?

Pretty much. A little fake rabbit tail on a stick helps too.
