Best way to repel gnats

they are so bad this year they carried away my center fielder lill Johnny. Any ideas on how to keep the kids safe for gnats kidnapping hate crimes?? 100% deet made them worst.

Rub dryer sheets on and around your neck. I use to help my uncle farm and we planted behind sweet corn farmers. I don't know what it is about sweet corn sandy soil & fertilizer but it is the perfect breeding ground for gnats.

This, all day! Not only does it repel gnats, but it's a great excuse for the old lady as to why I smell like a stripper

Apply a heavy coating of aerosol alcohol based sunscreen and immediately add on a layer of deep woods OFF. Gnats die on contact and you'll have a nice body builder sheen to impress the ladies.

It's not cheap, but if you buy very high quality pants and long sleeve shirts you can stop a lot of the biting gnats. Even a cheap pair of pants will run you $90 but it's well worth the scratch.

If you haven't heard this method, you won't believe me until you try it... but, if you're only outside temporarily in a quick convo before you get in the car or something and they're hounding you, hold your hands above your head. They will typically just swarm to the highest point. It will get the vast majority of them above your face.
It's annoying to do and you look dumb when you do it, but it works in a pinch.

You laugh but its the only thing that kept them off of me last weekend fishing. I went through 2 packs in one evening and morning. Just kept one lit.
