When is the best time to fish?
rising tide or falling tide?
full moon or new moon?
before a front or after a front?
I always hear people say different things what do you guys think?

What they said.
Really you are opening a can of worms with those questions. There are a lot more factors I suppose which affect catching fish than what you listed. There are those that would say that you can catch fish in any of the given circumstances once you know how to adjust your strategy to accomodate the conditions.
For me I prefer a moving tide. It doesn't matter if it is coming in or going out as long as there is movement. But I've also caught with a flat tide so go figure.

agreed...only other thing i'd add is that fishing is usually messed up for the first day or two right after a front, fishing the day of a front has always produced best for me, they seem to go on a feeding frenzy
with a full moon fish can feed all night so i've always heard that the middle of the day is usually good, if u look at almanacs they will usually give the middle of the day as a good time for full moons

I've noticed that when the weather is consistent for a few days I have had better luck. I honestly believe if the moon can cause the tides it could effect the fishing, the problem is really no one can prove which moon is better or if it really effects the fishing.

I went to the southshore across the Causeway this morning at 9 AM and saw over 50 boats fishing under the bridge. The front was moving in and rain was all around the lake. This told me that these guys knew some shite and all hit the water during the front.
